Paul Crisp

Paul Crisp is the Managing Director of CUREE, he directs its business affairs and is its Chief Information Officer (CIO), He has strategic responsibility for knowledge management, quantitative analyses (aka stats!), ICT heavy projects and those principally located in FE and HE sectors.

Lisa Bradbury

Lisa Bradbury is CUREE’s Principal Professional Learning Manager and leads on the planning and facilitation of CPD especially mentoring and coaching and use of research based CPD resources, the evaluation and accreditation of CPD and the development and design of research based CPD resources as well as Quality Assurance.

Lisa has facilitated development programmes for Local Authorities, groups of schools, SSAT and the National College as well as leading projects for CWDC, QCDA, TDA and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

Miranda BellMiranda Bell is an Associate Director of CUREE. She has held senior management positions in higher education, specialising in communications, marketing, networks and partnership development. She has subsequently been consistently active in communicating good practice across education sectors, as an editor, research manager and commissioner, consultant and adviser. She has also worked internationally.

Rebecca Raybould

Rebecca Raybould

Rebecca joined CUREE in September 2010 as Principal Research Manager - Research in Action. She has completed a successful headship and has also worked as a deputy and class teacher in a range of schools. In addition she has supported schools in an advisory capacity whilst working for a Local Authority. Having recently completed a Masters in International Studies in Education she is keen to study for her PhD in the near future.

Colin Isham

Colin Isham is Associate Principal Researcher at CUREE. He has led a number of research projects, in addition to supporting school and FE colleagues’ use of research to develop practice. He has recently completed the Opening Minds action research project on behalf of RSA Opening Minds, and is currently working with colleagues in eight FE colleges on the 157 Group’s ( LSIS sponsored) curriculum redesign research.

Donald EvansDonald joined CUREE in March 2001. He is a key contributor to the General Teaching Council's 'Research of the Month' website and to the 'Research Informed Practice' area of the DfES Standards website, for both of which he writes summaries of high-quality research. Donald has contributed to a number of EPPI Centre Reviews of Continuing Professional Development conducted by CUREE.

Janine McComiskey

Janine McComiskey

Janine McComiskey is CUREE’s Project and Systems Coordinator. She is involved in creating new systems and streamlining current processes to produce more effective systems of working as well as monitoring project work to provide the leadership team with management information. She is project coordinator for Skein, CUREE’s CPD evaluation service and supports other project work. In the past she has supported CUREE’s work with Achievement for All, worked on the Sing Up evaluation and the LSIS CAVTL route map.

Jean Macdonald

Jean Macdonald has been working with CUREE since she left the Learning and Skills Council (where she was the national LSC project manager for 'Success for All') in 2004. Her expertise is in project management and information systems and she has focused on projects involving the further education sector and those relating to the use of technology. She has considerable experience of managing projects in education, including research into good practice in FE and Work-based learning.
