Staff profiles

Philippa Cordingley

Professor Philippa Cordingley MA FCCT is the Chief Executive of CUREE and an internationally acknowledged expert in using evidence to develop education policy and practice.  She leads CUREE and has a hands on role in many of its projects including the development of the evidence based National Framework for Mentoring and Coaching; the creation of innovative practical resources to engage practitioners with research (e.g. Research for Teachers, The Research Informed Practice (TRIPs) web site and of a bank of micro enquiry tools for the Economic and Social Research Council’s Teaching and Learning Research Programme and for the General Teaching Council.

Paul Crisp

Paul Crisp is the Managing Director of CUREE and its Chief Information Officer (CIO), He has strategic responsibility for knowledge management, quantitative analyses, ICT-heavy projects and those principally located in FE and HE sectors. He is very interested in the intersection of (and differences between) leadership and governance and, of course, the application of actual evidence to policy, leadership and practice. He likes to poke around in lies (damn lies) and statistics, uncovering the former and exploring insights from the latter.

Tom Perry

Tom Perry is an Associate Research Manager at CUREE, a role he combines with being Associate Professor in the Education Department at Warwick University

Tom spends most of his time applying his expertise in research methods and design to research and evaluation projects at CUREE. Tom's recent and current projects include the EEF Iris-Connect Developmental Pilot Evaluation (UoB), the Educational Internation study into teacher professional identity (CUREE), the formative evaluation of The Paul Hamlyn Foundation's Teacher Development Fund (CUREE) and the Pupil Attitudes to Learning and School study (UoB).

Rebecca Raybould

Rebecca is a valued CUREE Associate whose relationship with CUREE began in 2010. She leads our various Executive and Leadership Coaching activities (and is herself an expert leadership coach). She makes major contributions to our various evaluation projects, particularly the evaluation of CPD.

She has headship experience and has also worked as a deputy and class teacher in a range of schools. In addition she has supported schools in an advisory capacity whilst working for a Local Authority. She has a Masters in International Studies in Education .

 

Jill Wilson

Jill is a Research Associate at CUREE working with us particularly in our school and college improvement domain. She is one of our team of three Teaching and Leadership Advisers (for NCTL) and regularly undertakes SKEIN reviews.

Jo Delmarre

Jo worked for 3 years as an admin assistant in Lille, northern France, followed by 18 years as the admin and finance manager for a conference and event management company in Coventry and then 8 years in a similar position for a vintage and classic car company in Kenilworth before coming to CUREE at the end of 2015. Spare time activities are swimming, photography, knitting and riding Segways when the opportunity arises.
