Closing the Gap: Test and Learn Consultation

How do I get involved?

To get involved in designing the process and selecting the interventions to be trialled you can:

Alternatively (or as well) you can:

If you would also like to engage in a discussion about the scheme - and involve other colleagues you can:

  • offer to host a focus group at your school (email us or use the on-line form) or joining a focus group organised by someone else, and/or;
  • Join in the discussion about the Test and Learn scheme in the online community on the National College website here  (NB – needs a login or free registration).

What if I want to do some of the research?

The National College are recruiting schools to participate in the actual trialling process. The scheme will be managed through the Teaching Schools network so, if you are one of those, you will already have been invited to participate. Teaching schools will be nominating partner schools (e.g. members of their alliance) to be the 'trial sites'. So, if you are part of an Alliance, contact the teaching school. It is not a requirement of the scheme that your school must be a member of an alliance to participate but the teaching school will be administering the process locally on behalf of the National College.

You can find more about the scheme, from the point of view of a potential participant, on the NCTL pages here

If all else fails, email us here at CUREE and we'll try to put you in touch with the right people.
