CUREE Conversations: Leading teacher development for school improvement

Here at CUREE we are passionate about the importance of connecting education leaders with the important evidence. In CUREE conversations we talk to a colleague about how they have used research to make a difference in their context.

Talking Continued Professional Development and Learning (CPDL) with Little Ilford School

In this series of clips we talk to Helen Marriott of Little Ilford school about how she has used the evidence about effective professional development to build  a CPDL offer that impacts positively on staff and their pupils. Following a CUREE Evaluate the Impact Programme Helen has worked with colleagues to develop professional learning across the school.

We discuss how the school's practice aligns with findings from international research that highlighted the important role of CPDL in recruitment and retention. Links to further resources can be found below the video clips.
