CUREE is conducting a three year (2006 - 2009) external evaluation of the TDA Postgraduate Professional Development (PPD) programme to inform its future developments. The evaluation is concerned with the success of the programme as a whole in providing high quality, accredited professional learning opportunities for teachers.
Each year, the evaluation involves detailed analysis of documentation submitted to the TDA, telephone interviews with participating teachers, a review of the work that teachers have completed as part of their courses and visits to 20 provider partnerships.
